How do I earn points?

Earning points through our loyalty program is easy! We offer points for a variety of actions ranging from following us on social media to subscribing to a product. Additionally, you will receive at least one point for every dollar spent with us! For more information on how to get points checkout How to Earn Points.

Do my points have any cash value?

Yes! Users have the option to use their points for cash value. You will receive $10 off for every 500 points you earn!

I referred a friend but I haven’t received an award. Why?

There could be a few reasons why you may not have received your referral award just yet:
- Your friend did not click on the referral link
- Your friend’s purchase did not reach the spending minimum
- Your friend’s referral is being reviewed by our escalation team for fraud prevention measures

Do subscription orders qualify for loyalty points?

But of course! Users will get an initial 250 points when their first subscription order ships (in addition to the points per dollar spent). Additionally, users will get the equivalent of 500 points off for their 4th and 8th shipments and the equivalent of 1,000 points off for their 12th shipment! How do I view my point balance?

To view your loyalty points, log into your account → "My Account" → "Loyalty Points”. There you will see all of the points you have gained along with any gifts / cash off you are able to redeem.

How do I redeem my points?
+
You have the option to redeem your points for cash value (500 points = $10 off). To redeem your points for $$ off your purchase, please log in to your account and select the desired reward at checkout. Please note that points cannot be redeemed for upcoming subscription orders.

Can I use my points and a promo code?

Unfortunately you cannot use points and a promo code together at this time.

If I return items that I earned points for, do I get to keep the points?
+
We understand some purchases may not be the right fit. If you return an item, the points you earned with your purchase will be deducted from your points balance. If the purchase upgraded you into the next tier threshold, your tier will be adjusted down when your points are deducted from your balance.

Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?

The limit does not exist! We currently do not cap the amount of points that a user can earn.

Is there a limit to how many product reviews I can earn points for?
+
There’s no limit on product reviews! The more you review your favorite products, the more points you earn. Look out for your order review email to get started.

Can I share points with another member?

Unfortunately, you cannot share points with another member at this time. However, you can still use your points to make a purchase for someone else, making it a thoughtful way to treat a friend!

If I cancel an order after redeeming a reward, can my points be returned?
+
If your purchase is refunded before your reward order is shipped, your points will be automatically returned to your account in 1-2 days. If your order is canceled and no refund is provided, your points will not automatically return to your account. If you don’t see your points returned after this time period please reach out to trueteam@truebotanicals.com.

Just contact us, and we'll be happy to re-enroll you. Please note: Unfortunately, we cannot reinstate any points or membership status earned before cancellation.

Can I earn points for buying True Botanicals in a retailer store?

Yes, we offer points for every dollar spent at select retailers. We accept receipts from Nordstrom, Erewhon, Amazon, Cult Beauty, The Detox Market, and Credo Beauty. We will honor purchases made in the last 30 days based on the receipt’s purchase date.

How do I submit retailer store receipts for reward points?

Upload a legible receipt above and our team will get back to you in 72 hours (Monday - Friday) via email. You’ll receive an automated email when your receipt is approved (or an email with additional questions.)

How long do I have to earn points after a retail purchase?

We will honor retail purchases made in the last 30 days based on the purchase date displayed on the receipt.

Can I remove personal information from my retail store receipt before uploading?

Yes you can remove any private information. We require store details, purchase date, item details, and timestamp to be displayed to label a receipt as legible.

How long is the receipt review process?

Expect the review process to last up to 72 hours on weekdays. Haven’t heard from us? Send a note to our team at trueteam@truebotanicals.com.

Can I upload my credit card statement instead of a receipt?

Unfortunately, we need an itemized receipt from the store to issue points.
